Candidate Profile
- You have a master’s degree (bac+4/bac+5) commercial/economic/supply chain orientation.
- You are interested in commercial activities or already have a first experience in sales.
- You are autonomous, rigorous, and agile with good communication skills in a multicultural and transverse environment.
- You like interacting with others and understanding their needs and constraints.
- You are responsive, organized, have a good team spirit and a decision-making capacity.
- You are fluent in English and ideally master one or more other European languages (French, Dutch, German).
- You are willing to travel for about 30% of your working time all over Europe.

Activities
Your missions consist of:
- Manage direct sales to small and medium size customers: negotiate annual contracts, regular sales, and opportunistic sales to achieve volume and profitability targets.
- Maintain close contact with customers to identify threats and opportunities, gather relevant market intelligence, manage financial exposure.
- Interact constructively with all internal resources needed to help achieve our mission (technical support, sales support, credit department, supply chain management, legal department…).

Context & Environment
The POLYMERS Europe and Orient department is currently looking for an Account Manager Polymers (m/f/x) to join the sales team for the European Market. The main challenges of the position are to develop and organize commercial activity in a market which is in transition towards more sustainable solutions.
The position is based in Brussels and offers a company car.
