Our Upstream Chemicals team oversees our technology solutions for hydrocarbon production, transportation and processing. We are the leader in oil and water separation technology and in solutions to control corrosion, deposition, bacteria’s. We provide chemicals and support to enhance plant processes, improve productivity, manage water treatment, and resolve environmental issues.
Partner with the best
As our Account Manager you will provide onshore and offshore production chemistry support to a specific client and all associated stakeholders. You will provide technical and account providing and implementing chemical treatment programs to enhance and protect the production process. This role primarily functions as an in-house account management service rep at our customer site in Stavanger for their offshore production facility.
As an Account Manager you will also be responsible for:
- Coordinating onshore chemical sampling, testing and analysis completed offshore Supporting technical projects and chemical trials
- Supporting day to day production chemistry for client asset, interfacing with the relevant client functions and departments
- Coordinating work allocation and planning, HSE investigations, employee development and training and performance feedback
- Coordinating laboratory work scopes, providing technical assistance to support customer accounts
- Managing chemical supply, stock projections and relevant forecasting
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a Degree qualification in Chemistry or similar science
- Demonstrate relevant experience of working in production or oilfield chemicals
- Show experience of supporting customer accounts and co-ordination of offshore activities, scheduling and forecasting
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills and an ability to build trusting relationships with customers and teams
- Have the ability to manage multiple project and deadlines, managing and resolving chemical production and scheduling issues
- Be a self-starter, proactively taking the initiative to solving problem
- Have good oral and written communication skills in Norwegian and English
- Be willing to work offshore occasionally
