  • Managing and overseeing the general accounting functions, including asset accounting.
  • Participating in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
  • Preparation of financial statements and reports in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  • Reconciling accounts and ensuring compliance with accounting principles.
  • Analyzing financial data and providing insights to management.
  • Collaborating with internal teams, headquarters, partners, and joint ventures to support financial operations.
  • Facilitating interactive communication and collaboration to ensure smooth financial processes across various entities.
  • Coordinate and participate in the physical inventory regularly.
  • Be aware of their role, responsibilities and accountabilities to perform their activity in accordance with HSEQ.
  • Any other duties as required.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting roles.
  • Fluency in both English and French (both written and spoken).
  • Hands-on experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
  • Proven ability to interactively collaborate with headquarters, partners, and joint ventures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  • Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus.
