We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to fill the position of Analyst IT Systems within our IT / E&P / Subsurface / Drilling & Completions group based in Midland, TX.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical day-to-day support to Business Units and Well Servicing functions for the Landmark OpenWells application
- Provide technical day-to-day support to Business Units and Well Servicing functions for the WaRS (Workover and Resource Scheduling) application
- Troubleshoot issues to determine the root cause of a problem, i.e., application, data, misuse or misunderstanding of application
- Lead implementation of WaRS (Workover and Resources Scheduling) application with counterparts from Production Operations
- Collaborate with the Drilling, Completions, and Well Servicing Data Management group to assure data is appropriate for the applications
- Manage the list of Drill Site Managers, Well Site Managers, and Vendors in the Landmark EDM (Engineers Data Model) database
- Proactively assess the usage of the Well Servicing applications and make recommendations to drive long-term improvement
- Ensure Well Servicing data in WaRS and OpenWells is correctly integrated with other company systems
- Engage with cross-functional teams, including Regulatory, Land, and Finance to understand their needs, challenges, and pain points, and proactively address them
- Establish relationships with internal IT teams (Database, Security, Network, Citrix) to rely on their assistance
- Keep abreast of technology trends in the Well Servicing vertical
- Gain a better understanding of the AWS cloud and how it may impact the manner in which Well Servicing conducts its business
- Regularly assess Well Services processes, tools, and technologies to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous enhancements to data quality, efficiency, and effectiveness
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Understanding of Well Services Operations
- Experience Supporting Well Services Organizations
- Knowledge of Oracle and SQL Server Databases
- SQL Queries
- Jobs, Procedures, Functions, Materialized Views
- Good Oral and Written Communication Skills
- Experience with Landmark’s OpenWells Application and EDM (Engineers Data Model) Database
- Experience Performing Remote Support
- Experience with Application Installation, Configuration, and Support
- Experience with Application Delivery via Citrix or VDI
- Experience with Windows and Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Experience with Application Packaging
- Understanding of SCCM Distribution of Applications

- Microsoft SSIS Integration Services
- Microsoft SSRS Reporting Services
- Python Scripting
- Microsoft 365 Apps (OneDrive, SharePoint Online)
