The position
Are you an experienced Engineer or a graduate in a technical, commercial, or information technology subject? Are you looking to kick start your career with an international energy company committed to long-term value creation in a low-carbon future? If so, then we would love to hear from you!
We are looking for committed, motivated and qualified personnel to join our team as our future Asset Management Engineer. Being an experienced engineer or an engineer earlier in their career, you will be exposed to the monitoring of operational management and asset management of the Etzel natural gas storage facility.
By joining our team in Marketing, Midstream & Processing you will have the opportunity to:
- Be responsible for delivering on our Asset Management ambitions i.e. performance level, identification of required mid and long term measures and asset development.
- Monitor daily operation process, planning and execution of work program and budget.
- Contribute to our Joint Venture reporting including work program and budget follow-up.
- Support our monitoring of the daily activities and performance indicators, participate in meetings with our Technical Service Provider, carry out HSE inspections and follow-up of the monthly work progress.
- Communicate with vendors and assist procurement with quotations.
- Contribute to security and compliance performance and assist with the documentation of all diverse certification processes to ensure compliance.
- For those in the early stage of your career; you will work closely with experienced colleagues and expand your competence in Asset Management, alongside various interfaces & tasks listed above that will add long term value to your career.

- An experienced engineer with the following:
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in an engineering, technical, economical, or commercial subject (or similar).
- 5+ years of practical experience in a highly regulated industrial setting, either in a technical or commercial related role.
- Certified as or knowledge of Information security (ISO 27001) standards will be an added advantage.
- Early career applicants we will be required to have:
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in an engineering, technical, economical, or commercial subject (or similar).
- Willingness to learn and develop your skills in Asset Management.
- All applicants will be expected to have:
- Rotating or Mechanical equipment knowledge or experience will be a distinct advantage.
- The ability to communicate fluently in German (C1 level minimum), alongside fluency in English.
- Hold a category B driving licence.
- Live near the Etzel facility or be willing to move to the area. Ideally live within 1 hour commute from the site.
