ExxonMobil has a long history in China dating back to 1892 when its predecessor Standard Oil began marketing kerosene to light the Mei Foo lamps at Chinese homes. Today, ExxonMobil’s business portfolio in China spans the full spectrum of the industry, from upstream to downstream, chemicals and technology center.

What you will do
• Drive execution of the GBU Strategy in the MBU to meet needs informed by customer, market data, insights and segmentation
• Identify local industry business drivers for sector and channel growth by market
• Provide MBU input to global brand strategy. Lead MBU Consumer brand related marketing plans for each brand(or input to 5YMP), support development of Channel marketing plans when needed and drive initiative implementation as appropriate
• Manage MBU Consumer brand portfolio as appropriate within brand strategy and to meet market needs
• Accountable for growing the Consumer brand health and perceived value in the MBU, net income and share
• Operationalize Consumer brand architecture and deploy guidelines for MBU
• Drive MBU product offer innovation, including but not limited to, business models, product, package, service and associated claims in support of the Strategy and the business revenue growth plans
• Accountable for developing & deploying MBU Consumer end-to-end offer including resources, pricing, valuation, affordability channel and positioning in local market, consistent with Strategy
• Guide and support MBU integrated Consumer communication plan, advertising to include digital and social
• Supports development of annual sales and marketing implementation plans for Consumer
• Support sharing of best practices, guidelines and toolkits among MBUs. Ensure participation in appropriate networks
• Ensure all activities conform to the expectations set forth in the BPIMS Framework
