Primary Responsibilities include:
  • Lead and/or assist in acquisition or divestiture evaluations of assets including:
    • Forecasting PDP reserves
    • Forecast upside and development reserves by developing type curves, proper spacing and other traditional reservoir engineering techniques
    • Determining other key commercial expenses and pricing impacts including:
      • Product pricing / differentials
      • Gathering, process and treating expenses
      • Lease operating expenses
    • Drilling and completion capital expense analysis
    • Discounted cash flow analysis
    • Perform sensitivities to understand impact of varying inputs
  • Perform high-level scoping of acquisition opportunities w/ publicly available data
  • Manage acquisition and divestiture processes from start to finish
  • Work closely w/ the Divisions to identify acquisition and divestiture opportunities
  • Support commercial negotiations

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of Bachelor’s of science in petroleum engineering or related engineering discipline
  • 7+ years of oil & gas engineering experience with 2+ years in acquisition evaluations
  • Skilled in key software:  ARIES, Petra, ArcMap, PHDWin, Access, IHS Data Management, Enverus, Spotfire, Excel, PowerPoint, Word
Position will be filled at a level commensurate with experience.
