Job Description:

SLB is looking for a highly talent Cementing Operations Supervisor to oversee and manage cementing operations in the field. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of cementing jobs, following SLB standards and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate cementing operations at the wellsite, ensuring compliance with SLB safety and operational procedures.
• Lead and mentor field personnel, providing guidance on best practices and troubleshooting operational challenges.
• Ensure proper preparation, mixing, and pumping of cement slurries to meet job specifications.
• Monitor job execution, adjust parameters as needed, and ensure optimal cementing job quality and performance.
• Maintain accurate job reports, equipment usage logs, and material consumption records.
• Collaborate with engineers, rig personnel, and client representatives to ensure seamless operations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions and operational issues in real time.
• Enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies in all field activities.
• Assist in equipment maintenance, inventory control, and logistics planning for cementing operations.

Qualifications & Requirements:

•  Iraqi nationality (as per company requirements).
•  Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory)
•  Minimum 3+ years of experience in cementing operations within the oil & gas industry.
•  Strong knowledge of cementing techniques, fluids, additives, and equipment.
•  Proven leadership and team management skills in field operations.
•  Familiarity with well control principles and pressure management.
•  Ability to work in remote locations and on rotational schedules.
•  Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities under pressure.
•  Strong communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams.
•  Valid HSE and Well Control certifications (preferred).
