About the Role
Are you a seasoned project engineer ready to take your career to the next level?
Santos is seeking a dynamic C&FA Senior Project Engineer to manage Santos Midstream Major Hazard Facilities (Moomba Plant, Port Bonython Plant & Gladstone LNG Plant) maintenance projects and ensure the projects are delivered on budget, on schedule and in an environmentally and safe manner.
Key accountabilities include:
- Apply thinking in area of expertise – deliver plans and work as directed aligning to the company’s strategy
- Understands change and performance mindset and participates to achieve desired culture outcomes
- Contributes to delivering on cost reduction efficiencies and value creation strategies as directed
- Manage the Midstream Major Hazard Facilities (Moomba Plant, Port Bonython Plant & Gladstone LNG Plant) maintenance projects in support of desired business objectives.
- Steward cost and schedule commitments against budget and ensure high performance and accountability focus on delivery against these.
- Deliver modification, integrity, and upgrade projects to improve cost, efficiency and utilisation outcomes.
- Deliver project objectives utilising a structured gating process
- Point of contact and escalation point for maintenance projects from a field execution perspective
About You
Holding an Engineering Degree, Trade Qualifications, or Industry Experience with a Project Management background, the ideal candidate will possess significant oil and gas industry experience, preferably with extensive exposure to processing, as well as experience of planning and/or coordinating projects in an oil and gas environment.
This role will suit a self-starter with experience of having run projects, or with portfolio experience within Project Management with a knowledge of project controls, an understanding of costs and demonstrable stakeholder management experience.
