Chemical Technician I

The primary responsibility of the chemical technician will be to coordinate chemical operations through the following:
 
 * Installation of new chemical applications which includes plumbing chemical lines, installing chemical pumps, installing solenoids, assisting in automating chemical equipment, and installation of monitoring equipment
 * Troubleshooting of existing chemical applications which includes, but is not limited too; repair of chemical pumps, repair of associated chemical injection plumbing, correlating chemical injection rates and tank volumes to automation valves and troubleshooting any issues arising therein, and H2S tower operational issues.
 * Communication of chemical operations to vendors, operations staff and management.
 * Development of action plans based upon information from both field and management to quickly and efficiently execute chemical operations.
 * Liaison between local operations and chemical operations
 * Liaison between vendor and EOG in all matters pertaining to chemical application, i.e. ensure KPIs, reporting and costing are regularly updated.

High School diploma or GED required. Minimum of 1 year of basic oilfield experience desired. Computer skills must include a proficiency in MS Office and ability to learn internal and external programs. Additional consideration will be given for experience with Cygnet and TOW. Must be able to work independently, including time management, prioritization and organization.
 
Good driving record required.  
 
Position will be filled at a level commensurate with experience.
