What role you will play in our team

 

Architects are IT Professionals responsible for architecting and designing IT Solutions and Services. They are experts, visionaries, and business to IT liaisons. This role is for those architects focused on design, implementation and support processes for multiple infrastructure areas. Solution Architects focus on capability enablement by leveraging existing reference architectures, domain strategies, business capabilities, and gaps to deliver an optimal solution based on functional and non-functional requirements. 

Be part of a product team responsible for overall technical design of a data product on cloud platform. Create logical and physical architectures for their data products and ensure that it meet technical design goals – Performance, Modularity, Reliability, Maintainability, Reusability, Internationalization and Accessibility.
 
We are looking for an individual with strong passion to architect the solution of modern application on cloud with high quality, reliability, and secure. Candidates are expected to work collaboratively with other team members and adhere to agile development/DevOps practices (e.g. Test-Driven Development), CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery), and testing standards.
 

What you will do

 

•    Develops trusting relationships with business and IT Stakeholders
•    Works with other architects to define the platform strategy to meet current and future requirements (roadmap)
•    Works mostly across conceptual & logical architecture levels; creates the logical reference architecture diagrams
•    Collaborates with Domain and Enterprise Architects to find new solutions
•    Partner with System Architects, Delivery Teams and new initiatives to drive alignment of solutions to reference architectures and strategies
•    Engages and influences vendors to identify, learn and socialize emerging product capabilities to meet business needs
•    Learns to apply the fundamental architecture skills
•    Provides technical leadership within their community; mentors and coaches the technical talent in their team
•    Responsible for overall business process/ technical solution / architecture of data products in their Program
•    Designs and supports the development of technology systems that meet business needs, with focus on platform operations and reliability
•    Develop and deliver roadmap and planning product lifecycle
•    Works mostly across physical architecture levels; creates the physical reference architecture diagrams
•    Evaluate and guide selection of technologies required to introduce new system(s) to meet business needs
•    Deep system, product, and capability knowledge

About you

 

Qualifications
•    Education: University degree in Engineering/IT
•    Fluent English
•    Industry training on Architecture Frameworks (preferably TOGAF)
•    Has contributed and lead architecture engagements
•    Strong problem-solving skills as well as incident and change management knowledge. Customer focus, capable of cultivating relationships, taking ownership of problem resolution, able to juggle multiple projects/activities simultaneously and excellent leadership skills, both written and verbal communication, Innovation mindset
•    Strong interpersonal, team working and collaboration skills. Coordinating activities with other support teams and business clients.

 

Technical Skills:
•    Recommended technologies:
•    SQL, Java, Python, Azure Cloud basics, Azure Data Factory, Qlik Replicate, NiFi, DBT, Snowflake, Collibra, ER Studio, Data Modeling.
•    Good to have:
•    Alteryx, SAP BODS, TAMR, Enterworks, MDG, Data IKU, Databricks, Confluent Kafka
•    Architecture – understand architecture methodologies.
•    Understanding of Enterprise Architecture mandates and IT strategy
•    Understanding business process and data life cycle of data products in their team
•    Understand software development life cycle (define, design, develop, test, deploy, operate) 
•    Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD Tools (e.g. GitHub actions)
•    Requirements Gathering – able to work with consumer to get their requirements and translate that into technical design and architecture
•    Strong problem solving and analytical skill
•    Knowledge in cloud technology

•    Have a good command of English, and able to articulate & communicate technical context in layman language
•    Strategic thinking
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skill
•    Good collaboration and teamwork
•    Self-learner, self-initiate and proactivity
