Understanding of IP addressing, subnets and VLAN’s 
Knowledge, understanding and ability to apply Ohm’s law  
In depth knowledge of low voltage 12 to 48 volt DC power systems
* Including batteries, charge controllers, inverters, solar panels, battery isolators, PoE injectors 
Knowledge and understanding of 120 volt AC circuits 
Proficient in using test equipment
* Multimeter, Battery tester, Cable qualifier, NetScout Network Analyzer, Wilson Cell Signal Analyzer 
Aptitude to install, configure and troubleshoot various devices
* Network switches, PtP radios, PtMP access points/subscriber modules, Wifi access points, Tropos routers
* Serial radios and terminal servers
* Cell modems, boosters, extenders
* Cameras – multiple makes and models
Ability to build and qualify CAT5 and coax cables
Knowledge and understanding of fiber optic cabling, SFP ports and modules 
Basic knowledge and understanding of automation, measurement, and electrical devices communication and network setting requirements
Competence to safely work from heights (Man Lifts and tower structures) 
Ability to mount and align various radios, microwave dishes and cameras

Recommend 2+ years’ experience related to job position
High School Diploma or GED required
Valid driver’s license and good driving record required
Must be able to work outside 90% of the time in extreme weather conditions
Must be able to climb tank stairs, push, pull, bend, crouch, crawl, squat, and lift 10-50 pounds
Demonstrate ability to learn, work safely, and communicate   
Demonstrate basic mechanical, electrical, and technological skills   
Demonstrate work ethic aligning with EOG core values
Team oriented
Unsupervised time management
Safety First Approach
Ability to handle basic discipline specific tasks (Described in Appendix A)
Ability to learn and navigate software/application platforms
Actively participate in safety meetings / discussions
Perform Intermediate Level Tasks with little/no assistance:
* Routine troubleshooting & repair of devices/systems
* Perform daily tasks
Determine priority of workload and assist with task scheduling  
Maintain strong working relationship with other disciplines
 
Good driving record required.  
 
Position will be filled at a level commensurate with experience.
