Job Profile Summary:
The Staff Contract Administration Professional, working under general supervision, is responsible for providing moderately complex contract analysis in order to report and respond to inquiries. The role prepares new contracts and maintains existing contracts for Marketing and Midstream. The role also involves working closely with other departments and customers to ensure the accuracy of contract related information.
Job Description:
- Processes, reviews and distributes contracts, amendments and correspondence for various types of marketing agreements.
- Drafts agreements by applying the established terms and conditions as negotiated by Marketing and Legal.
- Reviews drill schedules and prepares well connection notices.
- Ensures contracts have been properly authorized and that all terms and conditions are accurately captured in database.
- Maintains contract files within the designated contract repository.
- Adds value through identifying and leading continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiencies within the group.
- Provides ad-hoc support for Commercial, Legal, Accounting, Management and other departmental functions as necessary.
- Reviews opportunities for contract consolidation.
- Works with internal and external stakeholders in transfer and assignment of contracts.
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or any other related discipline and/or commensurate work experience is required.
Experience:
- 3+ years of relevant experience, preferably in areas such as Contract Administration or a related field. Industry experience is preferred.
