On behalf of one of our clients, a Leading EPC company, I am currently recruiting for a Contracts Engineer with QS (Quantity Surveying) experience to work on a portfolio of Green Hydrogen Projects.
The position is on a Contract basis with an initial duration of a least 1 year with scope for extension. The role will be based in Botlek – there is the possibility of hybrid working.

The ideal candidate will have:
- Accredited degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study or equivalent
- Fluent written and spoken English; Dutch is not a must but good to have
- Secondment (site) experience
- Advanced MS-Word and MS-Excel skills
- Effective negotiation and contract interpretation experience
Responsibilities:
• Contract negotiation
• Contract administration
• Coordinates the subcontracting activities post-award for an assigned project:
o Administrate contracts per procedures
o Identify and advise project and supply management of (commercial) risks
o Assist in handling of claims and disputes
o Monitor contractor performance and delivery of services to meet objectives
• Negotiate Terms & Conditions
• Prepare contracts
Please note that this role is to be primarily based at the offices in the Botlek therefore you must be willing to be based within this region, at least for 2 to 3 days per week.
