Minimum Requirements:
BSc/B.Eng. Engineering
Relevant experience in a similar role, and with more than twelve years’ practical and working experience in Oil & Gas facilities.

Additional Desirable Qualifications:
MNSE, COREN

Personal Attributes:

  • Advanced working experience in Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation, process, controls and automation/commissioning.
  • Design, installation and commissioning and maintenance of Field Instruments, PLCs especially Allen Bradley (Logix5000, PLC5, SLC 500), and DCS.
  • Calibration and Commissioning of all Control, Safety and Shutdown Valves.
  • Carry out planned preventive maintenance routines, with reliability centered maintenance (RCM) with the aid of CMMS (SAP).
  • Ability to diagnose faults on Electrical Power systems, instrumentation and control systems/General Knowledge of Power Machines Maintenance.
  • Knowledge of oil and gas HSE policies and practices.
  • Quality leadership and communication skills.
  • Experience in technical report writing.
  • Experience in documentation.
  • Knowledge of equipment performance monitoring.
  • Knowledge of equipment uncertainty and reliability determination.
  • Knowledge of applied engineering principles and practices.
  • Knowledge of power generation, transmission and distribution.
  • Knowledge of Electrical and Instrumentation engineering designs, standards and practices.
  • Experience in the development of electrical and instrumentation deliverables.
  • Ability to read and understand Electrical drawings.
  • Ability to read and understand Engineering drawings.
  • Ability to read and understand Automation and control drawings.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Knowledge of maintenance scheduling.
  • Knowledge of oil and gas metering and Emerson Gas Chromatograph analyzer.
  • Knowledge of oil & gas industry construction standards and codes such as International Electrical Code (IEC), National Electrical Code (NEC), American Petroleum Institute (API), American National Standard Institute (ANSI), National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM).
