We are seeking a skilled Cost Accountant with a keen eye for detail and a knack for conducting thorough analyses to enhance company budget objectives. Your main responsibilities will revolve around ensuring high-quality financial oversight for specific projects and offering support in accounting, analysis, and reporting to achieve financial goals. Your contribution to refining our cost allocation process will be pivotal in advancing our financial strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain, monitor, and manage financial data pertinent to project costing.
  • Aid in establishing standard costs for allocated expenses, including project burdens.
  • Analyze operational expenses according to cost accounting standards.
  • Alert management to potential profitability or risk factors.
  • Handle financial transactions such as billing promptly and accurately.
  • Fulfill any additional duties as required.

Desired Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and/or Finance is mandatory.
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience as a Cost Accountant is necessary.
  • Demonstrated expertise in accounting principles and theory.
  • A flexible and detail-oriented team player capable of thriving in a dynamic environment while juggling multiple projects with shifting priorities.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, coupled with strong organizational prowess.
  • Self-motivated with the initiative to manage project timelines and see tasks through to completion autonomously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly intermediate to advanced Excel skills, is essential.
  • Experience with Oracle is advantageous.
