  • Accountable for general management of gas reservoir engineering aspects of Disouq Field.
  • Provide technically sound support in gas reservoir management, development and engineering in ongoing exploration campaign in East Damanhour Concession.
  • Plan, prioritize and monitor all related reservoir activities to enable the results are implemented in field development.
  • Provide annual reserve reporting and annual production forecasts.
  • Provide long and short-term forecasts utilizing integrated modelling and simulation tools.
  • Study well bore behavior, analyze pressure buildups and initiate production improvement programs in gas wells.
  • Ensure timely completion of work programs from reservoir perspective and follow up on its execution.
  • Support workover proposals based on reservoir engineering considerations.
  • Initiate and planning of development wells.
  • Responsible for training and setting of appropriate work programs to ensure younger engineers receive broad range of experience.

What we expect
  • M. Sc. degree in Petroleum or Reservoir Engineering
  • 8-12 years of experience in reservoir engineering, reservoir management, numerical simulation.
  • Strong understanding of reservoir characterization and modelling.
  • Strong understanding of risk principles and statistics.
  • Excellent understanding of PVT and compositional modelling, geology and geophysics.
  • Excellent skills in Eclipse, tNav, IPM and RTA tools.
  • Knowledge of well engineering and facilities engineering, and the interfaces between the different disciplines.
  • Knowledge in reserves and resources booking.
  • Recognizing and solving challenges involved in managing the complete range of E&P projects.
  • Strong ownership and leadership mindset, with inherent accountability and capability to deliver reservoir projects, well proposals in timely manner.
  • Active supporter of new technologies, digitalization projects and energy transition.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
  • Proactive, intercompany teamwork-oriented profile.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Responsible to perform activities in accordance with HSEQ standards.
