Candidate Profile

A strong candidate will have experience:

* Analyzing the market to identify potential partners customers in line with TotalEnergies´ ambition.

* Building long-term relationships and structuring pricing proposals.

* Experience in B2B Solar PV project development

* Coordinating with technical teams internally and externally.

* Negotiating high-value contracts to a close.

* Be flexible and proactive to deal with complex situations and achieve sales targets.

When it would be helpful for a candidate to have experience in Solar, we recognize that the solar B2B market is nascent and therefore we are considering candidates with experience in adjacent sectors.

* Master´s degree in engineering or sciences

* 7 at least 10 years of professional experience positioning sophisticated solutions and cost – benefit analyses

* At least 5 to 7 years of project management experience in B2B solar PV

* Experience in PV construction

* Excellent communication skills and good technical knowledge coupled with a dynamic approach to sales. Success-oriented.

* Strong office skills specially in PV design software’s and related tools 

* Spanish working language

* English advanced knowledge is required. French and Portuguese are appreciated

Activities

* Responsible for the development, coordination, construction and implementation of solar B2B projects in cooperation with our technical partners

* Follow-up and monitoring of all project evolutions and potential impacts on the development, contracts or equivalent in the perimeter

* Responsible for the relationship with our technical partners

* Responsible for contractual negotiation also helped with the management 

* Focusing on growing and developing existing clients, together with generating new business

* Realization and technical support of commercial proposals (non-binding and binding offers) destined to create value for our clients

* Responsible for building and maintaining tools to industrialize our offer & process

* Expanding the relationships with existing customers and partners by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives

Context & Environment

Reporting to the Spanish Managing Director, the Business Developer will be responsible for aggressively growing TotalEnergies Renewables Ibérica leadership in the I&C / B2B solar sector in the peninsula by leading all phases of project development, coordinating stakeholders, closing exclusivity deals with co-development partners, building long-term relationships and supporting the closing of transactions with strategic and large companies.
