Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Drilling Materials Coordinator, based offshore on a 3/3 rotation until the end of the year.

Responsibilities:
* Liaise with the company Senior Drilling Supervisor, Drilling Superintendent, Drilling Engineers and onshore Logistics Team in the call off of equipment, materials and personal to ensure they arrive in a timely manner at the Rig site.
* Work with team in tracking, controlling and minimising logistical costs, monitoring of vessel and helicopter usage, reducing wherever possible.
* Manage and optimise vessel load out to reduce standby equipment time and improve deck loading plans.
* Use Kabal software tracking to optimise equipment returns. Report “blockers” to DCSI for follow up.
* Book all Drilling personnel helicopter flights, liaising with operational and support staff
* Focus on planning to minimise urgent shipment of equipment as far as practical and forward approved requisition to the company’s onshore logistics team
* Prepare and distribute daily operations and logistics look-ahead as directed by the Drill Rep
* Maintain accurate records of received and outstanding requisitions and cargo manifests and track purchase orders
* Perform cyclical inventory of the company’s stock and rental equipment and maintain the physical inventory at the Rig site
* Regularly review the obsolete and surplus rental equipment, materials and advise the company’s Offshore Senior Drilling Supervisor for follow up
* Use the Kabal and SAP systems system to maintain an accurate inventory of all rental equipment, materials and third party’s equipment at the Rig site and that of any equipment, materials round tripped on Boats
* Prepare and update drilling tool and equipment rental costs for daily reporting.
* Physical check for discrepancies in equipment, materials received against delivery notes and outward bound manifests
* Assist in procurement incidents, issues and reporting of incorrect delivery notes and manifests
* Assist in the manifesting and control of third party equipment, material as required
* Ensures that all hazardous and none hazardous wastes are correctly labelled and packaged prior to shipping ashore
* Maintains an accurate log of all containers and third party equipment lifting and operational certifications
* Participate in meetings (including tele-conferences and or morning call) relating to materials and logistics activities
* Liaise with Deck Leader on deck management issues and assist with identification of lift prioritisation (drilling vs ops)
* Attend all meetings and additional training as may be required
* Daily logistics lookahead with boat and helicopter movements
* Liaise with FOPS and platform team as required.

Requirements
* Appropriate offshore experience in drilling industry
* Demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills
* Valid UK Offshore Medical, BOSIET & MIST
* Valid Transport of Dangerous Goods by Air and Sea certification
* Remote Logistics Management
* Good working knowledge of Oilfield OS and SAP systems.
