As an Estimator, reporting to the Chief Estimator, you will have the opportunity to:

- Responsible for multiple systems on Technical, Health Care or Industrial projects
- Lead fully engineered estimates up to $5M
- Understand the concepts and process of conceptual estimates and budgets up to $1M
- Review the scope specified within the proposal and ensure estimates include appropriate scope
- Develop detailed cost estimates and proactively identify deficiencies and/or questions; actively assist the project team toward the answers
- Review contract documents and contract modifications to determine scope of work and equitable cost allowance for scope changes
- Proficient with estimating software
- Working knowledge of McCormick and Bluebeam
- Proven accuracy, reliability and completeness in job accomplishment
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Review Estimate take-offs
- Understanding and familiarity with NEC
- Mentoring Estimator Trainees & Estimator 1 staff
REQUIREMENTS:
- Four year Construction/Engineering degree or equivalent combination of technical training and/or related career experience
- One plus years recent Electrical Estimating experience with on-screen take-off experience preferred
- Computer literate and able to quickly master and apply department’s computer systems and software
