Job Summary:

We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join us and work on a diverse range of electrical, electronic, and computer-based equipment on cementing pumps and blending units. You’ll work alongside mechanical technicians to conduct planned maintenance, as well as completing repairs both on and offshore.

 

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Repair and maintain electric, electronic, and computer-based equipment according to company quality and safety standards
  • Troubleshoot and test electrical and electronic issues on equipment in the workshop, and conduct offshore field repairs
  • Assist mechanical technicians to carry out scheduled maintenance and repair electrical and electronic issues both on and offshore
  • Assist in training and supporting personnel to troubleshoot electrical/electronic systems

 

Requirements:

  • HND or HNC in Electrical/Electronic engineering, or an equivalent field
  • Previous experience in an electronic/electrical maintenance role
  • COMPEX (desirable)
  • Experience with hydraulic equipment or diesel engines (desirable)

 

This role could also be highly suited to those with experience in:

  • Servicing/Maintenance of Automation and Controls Systems
  • Aircraft Maintenance and Avionics
  • Servicing and maintenance of industrial machinery
