The position
By joining our team in Marketing, Midstream & Processing you will have the opportunity to:
Ensure compliance with governing documentation for “safe work on electrical systems” in our management systems, ARIS and others.
Act on behalf of the responsible electrical person to:
- Delegate operating authority to external companies
- Provide guidance on electrical issues and incidents.
- Interpret and ensure adherence to regulations and compliance standards.
- Monitor and inspect the competence and qualifications of internal and external personnel to ensure compliance with requirements.
- Approve and authorize external electrical companies.
- Review and sign off on advance and completion notices.
- Manage and approve access control and authorizations.
- Implement annual supervision and monitoring of electrical contractors.
- Operate or delegate access to high-voltage switchgear systems.
- Perform comprehensive inspections of electrical, instrumentation, and telecommunications equipment.
You

- A technical vocational school diploma, or a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Ideally, practical experience gained within the oil and gas industry, however other highly regulated industrial site experience will also be considered.
- Proven experience in assessing and monitoring the technical condition of operational installations, including design requirements and identifying potential improvements.
- Preferably, competence in high-voltage/low-voltage systems.
- Experience with digital tools, such as SAP, is a plus.
- Understanding of, and ideally experience in, risk management and HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment).
- A strong team player, comfortable working in a multidisciplinary environment.
- A proactive and responsible approach to problem-solving
- Fluency in Norwegian (both written and spoken) and proficiency in English.
- A desire to live and work locally to our Hammerfest LNG facility, ideally within 1 hour commute.
