Summary

The Equipment Service Technician is responsible for the repair, regular maintenance set up, and tear out of Precision Rental’s surface equipment, well site and camp units, and generator buildings.

 

Responsibilities

  • Perform regular well-site trailer and camp unit maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, satellite receiver repairs, furnace, and a/c inspections, as well as trim and carpentry work
  • Perform regular maintenance on 400 bbl tanks, horizontal invert/brine tanks
  • Travel to/from various oilfield leases and install, rig in/out, and repair multiple types of our equipment, including, but not limited to, healthy site accommodations, 400 bbl tanks, HZT tanks, generator buildings, hoses of various sizes, vacuum units, and centrifuges
  • Cleaning, assisting techs in repairs and shop tasks, painting equipment
  • Other general shop tasks as assigned
  • Occasional out-of-town travel is required
  • Requirement to work overtime as well as participate in an on-call rotation
  • Required to operate Heavy Equipment (i.e., front-end loaders.)
  • Basic clean-up and material coordination

 

Knowledge & Skills

Valid Class 5 Drivers License and current Drivers Abstract

Current WHMIS, TDG, H2S, CSO and FIRST AID

Excellent safety record and demonstrated commitment to a safe work environment

Strong work ethic, self-motivated, and able to work independently and able to work well with others in a team setting

Positive attitude

Well-developed written and verbal communication skills

 

Education

A High School Diploma is Required

Completion of College and/or vocational and technical training is an asset but not required

 

Experience

Previous experience in a similar role is considered an asset
