  • Manage the Facilities Team personnel and task
  • Establish and maintain a fit for purpose facilities project organization
  • Provide support to the license Technical Committee (TC), required partners interaction, presentations and reporting of project status
  • Deliver the facilities project in accordance with the agreed Basis for Design
  • Ensure that the project execution plan (PEP) is detailed and implemented within all relevant project activities
  • Ensure lessons learned from the earlier projects and ongoing activities can be captured and addressed
  • Manage the Stage Gate Process deliverables, ensure suitable peer assists, project reviews and value improving processes are performed
  • Manage the facilities project execution activities through detail engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and hand-over to operation phases
  • Ensure that the Asset Integrity verification scope of work and documentation is agreed, initiated, understood, and timely implemented as and where relevant.
  • Provide input to and participate in execution of activities as per the project quality & assurance plan
  • In co-operation with the procurement manager, manage the procurement strategy and tender process and ensure necessary involvement by subsea disciplines in the evaluation of technical submissions and tender evaluations.
  • Contribute to the management of change process in terms of engineering reviews and potential changes and variation order proposals
  • Contribute to project risk workshops. Identify and follow up relevant risks and mitigating actions.
  • Prepare technical and progress reports to support flow of key information to management and joint venture partners to assist in decision making
  • Budget management as appropriate
  • Manage timely hand-over of the completed facilities (including LCI and operations procedures) to operations and support with start-up and initial production
  • Align with Subsurface, Operations, HSE, Drilling & Wells, Regulatory Coordinator and Commercial disciplines for proactive contribution to project success (delivery according to FDP)

  • University degree or master’s degree in relevant engineering subject
  • Professional Experience (Required experience in a clearly definable field of activity and total years)
  • Minimum 15 years multidiscipline facilities design/construction/completion experience within the oil and gas industry
  • At least 5 years of multidiscipline facilities project leader experience including in-depth E&P project execution experience
  • Expertise on local and international regulatory framework
  • Able to lead, develop and motivate the team
  • Result-oriented with a balanced focus on: HSEQ – Production – Cost awareness – People
  • Self-motivated
  • Excellent communication and cooperation skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a high tempo environment
  • Demonstrate visible leadership, commitment to excellent HSEQ performance and compliance with company HSEQ requirements and applicable rules and regulations 
  • Enthusiastic, open and driven individual with strong HSEQ and leadership skills
  • Advance Proficiency in English and Spanish (write and spoken)
