Field Service engineer
who provides on-site customer support

Job Description

You are our ambassador with the customer. It is your job to help our customers when they face a problem with our products. You travel independently or together with a colleague to the customer and with your technical skills and knowledge you not only solve their problems, but you also look for opportunities to prevent them having problems in the future. You are the source of information for the customer and your colleagues. You build a relationship with our customers and you are the one who knows what is going on with the customer.

When you are not travelling to customers you are assisting our department in the factory with the new build of our products.

The department Field Service is part of the Sales team and consists of 3 FTE’s. In this position you report to the Field Service Coordinator.

Qualifications

The most important thing is that you are creative, flexible and have a high level of independency. You are analytical and you stay calm under pressure. You understand the customers need for information

These are also some important requirements:

  • Speak and write Dutch and English language
  • MBO 4 degree in Maritime Management, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams)
  • Good communication skills with the customer and the internal organization
