Job Description:

Our client is seeking a qualified and experienced Finance Manager to oversee the financial operations. This role will be responsible for ensuring corporate governance and statutory compliance, while leading and developing on-site finance teams.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure corporate governance and statutory compliance for multiple sites.
• Manage on-site Finance teams.
• Preparation of monthly management accounts timeously.
• Oversee stock purchasing and final monthly stock valuation processes.
• Preparation and submission of monthly VAT returns.
• Budgeting and performance monitoring.
• Managing and coordinating the Accounts payable function.
• Monthly forecasting of the profit/loss, balance sheet, and cash flows.
• Improve and maintain all Finance policy, processes, procedures, and internal controls.
• Compile annual financial reporting including statutory reports.
• Review all balance sheets and payroll reconciliation.
• Co-ordinate Internal Audit Reviews monitor findings and ensure resolutions thereof.
• Reconcile Intercompany loans monthly.

Requirements: Qualification and Skill

• Minimum of 5 Years’ experience; preferably in a Mining or Manufacturing environment.
• National Diploma in Accounting or B Com Accounting Degree.
• CIMA Qualification will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of Financial and Accounting Software- Sage X3 will be advantageous.
• Practical knowledge of IFRS, VAT, and Income Tax Act.
• High Level of Competence in MS Office (Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
