What you’ll do:
This role will role will be to collaborate with peers to provide clear financial information and analysis, focusing on business performance, the financial impacts of key decisions, and individual cost drivers.
Key accountabilities include:
• Provide business partnering and decision-making support.
• Produce and review monthly reporting packs with key stakeholders.
• Deliver analysis, insights, and commentary on business performance, targets, trends, and key drivers.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and estimates for supported areas.
• Perform month-end accounting, including journal preparation, result review, and integrity checks.
• Assist with audit queries.
• Contribute to half-year and year-end reporting for Group Finance.
• Support projects improving decision-making processes and systems.
• Provide ad-hoc analysis for decision-making.
• Support half-yearly restoration, DD&A, and impairment reviews.
What you’ll bring:
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in accounting, Commerce (or similar), and a membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia (CA), or CPA Australia. Your ability to demonstrate problem solving and analytical skills is essential, along with:
• 5+ years’ working in Finance.
• Experience utilising Excel and SAP.
Ideally, you will be degree qualified or demonstrate significant training and experience within directly relevant role(s), within large corporate environments.
