Description & Scope:

 

 

 

Our Cambridge Research Lab, located close to University of Cambridge, offers an immersive and dynamic environment for young scientists. The candidate will be part of a close-knit team within the ‘Electro-Chemical Technologies’ group, working on a fascinating project that involves theoretical investigations into multiphase complex fluid flows. This is an opportunity to work with numerical simulations and techniques like the finite volume method to characterize gas, liquid, and solid phases.
This is more than just an internship—it is your chance to work on real-world challenges that have the potential to transform industries!

 

 

 

 

Deliverables

 

 

 

  • Conducting numerical simulations using OpenFOAM solvers
  • Analyzing and interpreting complex datasets
  • Collaborating with a team of scientists on ongoing research projects
  • Writing detailed technical reports and presenting your findings to peers
  • Engaging in exciting theoretical discussions around fluid mechanics and multiphase flows

 

 

 

 

Required Skills & Qualifications:

 

 

 

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in fluid mechanics, aerodynamics, engineering, mathematics, or related fields.
  • Enthusiastic about Fluid Mechanics
  • Strong communication skills and teamwork
  • Solid numerical skills; experience with OpenFOAM, ANSYS is a plus!
