Airswift has been tasked by one of our major Oil and Gas clients to seek a FPSO Audit-Vendor Package Quality Lead, to work in their facilities located in Paris, FR.

  • Contract Duration: 12 months renewable
  • Work Location: Saint-Quentin en Yvelines
  • Start date: October 2024
  • Work Schedule: 5 days/week – office based

Scope:

The service Holder shall work closely with the Contractor Group’s Quality and Procurement representatives, Company Procurement, Engineering & Quality Teams with regards to the below activities
Initially participate in the Engineering phase by reviewing and commenting on quality and vendor package deliverables such as procurement specifications, purchase requisitions, inspection plans & schedules. This includes proactive assurance that EPC Contractor Group consistently implements all contractual requirements into design and specifications.

  • Focal point in support to the FPSO Quality manager in the qualification review of Contractors’ Vendors and Subcontractors (if required).
  • Attend scheduled audits carried out by contractor as observer and lead audits on behalf of the client.
  • Create and manage a company audit schedule.
  • Create and update company Inspection plan and schedule based on contractor’s plan and organisation.
  • Manage and coordinate inspections at vendors premises using company resources (Operations, Engineering, Package Managers) & 2nd Party Inspectors where appropriate.
  • Participate in Pre-Inspection meetings either remotely or at supplier’s premises.
  • Monitor quality performance of EPC Contractor, Vendors & sub-manufacturers.
  • Missions to manufacturer’s sites as and when required.
  • Shall proactively assure that EPC Contractor Group & Subcontractors consistently and correctly deliver on all contractual requirements within area of responsibility.
  • Monitor Contractor implementation of Quality Management Systems and Quality Plans.
  • Ensure correct markup of suppliers and vendor ITP.
  • Work closely with procurement, expediting, engineering & package managers ensuring compliance to the acceptance criteria stipulated in ITPs.
  • Actively participate in on-site and off-site discipline related meetings when required.
  • Proactively identify and report issues in a timely manner and provide resolution for management consideration.
  • Give sound advice on quality issues and proactively solve issues as they arise to protect product quality and project delivery schedule.
  • Participate in setting and managing vendor related KPIs with contractor.
  • Participate in regular meetings with contractor procurement and quality teams.
  • Apply reporting structure with contractor to identify issues related to quality and project delivery schedule.

The service holder shall:

  • Managing and coordinating the activities related to quality of vendor supplied packages and audits related to all aspects of the FPSO carried out by the EPSCC contractor, focusing on the successful and timely execution of the project.
  • Monitor and report on Contractors and Sub-contractors’ performance.

Technical Requirements:

  • Quality Engineer with at least 10 years of experience at same or equivalent position
  • Qualified & Experienced Auditor within the framework of ISO 9001
  • Knowledge of procurement processes related to vendor supplied packages
  • Languages: English mandatory, French is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills, dynamism, high motivation, “out-of-the-box” thinking, ability to convince, transverse coordination, organized, leadership and ability to put issues into perspective
