Estimation Engineer.
- Qualification :

A bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
- Requirements :
-
– Technical Knowledge: A deep understanding of the industry-specific processes, materials, and technologies relevant to the projects being estimated.
– Blueprints and Plans: Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications to accurately assess project requirements.
– Software Proficiency: Familiarity with estimation software and tools, as well as spreadsheet software like Excel, to create detailed estimates.
– Cost Database Utilization: Experience using historical cost data and industry-standard cost databases to develop accurate estimates.
– Communication Skills: Effective communication skills are essential for collaborating with project managers, engineers, clients, and subcontractors to gather information and present estimates.
– Mathematical Skills: Strong mathematical and analytical skills for performing calculations and data analysis.
– Project Management: Basic project management knowledge to understand project schedules, scope, and deliverables.
– Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure all project components and costs are considered in the estimate.
– Problem-Solving Abilities: The ability to identify potential issues and challenges in project estimation and find creative solutions.
