HSE Specialist

Airswift is seeking a HSE Specialist to work on a permanent contract with a major Oil & Gas Company in  Rio de Janeiro.
Professional with extensive knowledge in the offshore area, for EPIC projects for maritime installations, with a hands-on profile, excellent communication skills, mediation, knowledge of the Petrobras system, participation in supervisory and management level meetings, replacing, whenever necessary, the Project HSE Manager, development and control of documents (procedures, records and indicators), accident investigation, with fluent English.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
– Drawing up the project’s HSE Plan.
– Monitoring the HSE Plan.
– Survey, control and analysis of indicators.
– Providing training and/or appointing suppliers to provide it.
– Promoting the spread of the HSE culture.
– Carrying out audits and inspections on company assets.
– Develops the Workers’ Environmental Education Program (PEAT).
– Together with the management team, preparing the accident investigation analysis for the monthly meeting (LMT).
– Diagnosis and preparation of vessels for the licensing process with IBAMA;
– Monitoring subcontractors to ensure that they comply with the company’s, clients’ and legal HSE requirements.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Higher Education
 Postgraduate degree in areas related to Occupational Safety and/or the Environment desirable
Advanced English
IT – Office package
Environmental Management
ISO 14.001 standard
OHSAS 18.001 standard
Strong knowledge or ability to manage documentation and interface between areas;
Experience with preparing vessels for IBAMA approval, ANVISA approvals, Navy and PETROBRAS HSE inspections will be a plus;
