Hydraulic Technician III

Location: West Texas

Work Schedule: 14 on/14 off

Summary

The Hydraulics Technician is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and identifying hydraulics systems. Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

• Knowledge of fluid power formulas
• Read and assemble equipment from prints and drawings
• Read hydraulic schematics and have a good understanding of symbols
• Commissioning hydraulic equipment
• Coordinating maintenance and repairs
• Collaborating and cross-training with partner departments on other drilling equipment
• Maintaining the spare parts inventory and ensuring spares meet safe operating standards
• Adhere to all company safety standards and regulations
• Be available for 24-hour on-call to the field when required
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and resolving hydraulic problems
• Reading and assembling equipment from prints and drawings

Education

• Minimum 5-10 years experience in the hydraulic industry oilfield preferred

Experience

• Hydraulic training or certification would be beneficial
