Overview

We are seeking a Sr Industrial Skills Training Specialist Who Delivers and facilitates learning programs in classroom and field to ensure qualified workforce for respective Aramco

business areas and functions. Works as a team member and subject-matter expert in the development,

implementation and evaluation of curricula. Advises Industrial Skills Trainers/Instructors I & II regarding

effective training techniques.

 

Responsible as an exemplary trainer for instructing employees and trainers in skills, techniques, methods and procedures in one or more of the following areas: maintenance, operations, technical crafts, services,

safety, driving, drafting, laboratory, construction, heavy equipment, security, etc. Instructs, serves and

advises all levels to other instructors and teach high level technical courses. Serves as a Subject Matter

Expert (SME) and Instructional Systems Designer (ISD) team member during the development of curricula.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepares and maintains training materials: lesson plans, in house quizzes, test, trainees’ records, supplies, AV equipment, tools and training aids.
  • Instructs trainees in complex plant systems, operations and controls. Counsel trainees and maintain discipline for a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Develops, conducts and evaluates written, performance test and collect feedback.
  • Makes recommendations on and assists in the development, implementation and evaluation of curriculum and training aids. Serves as a mentor and conducts classroom/shop observations for other trainers/instructors.
  • Provides input to management as requested: budget planning, facility utilization, training plans, in-service development training paths, enrollment matters, curriculum changes, PMP.
  • Performs other training and training related duties assigned by Supervisor.
