JOB TITLE: INTERNSHIP SUBSURFACE (PETROLEUM ENGINEERING), Q3/Q4, 2024 INTAKE

KEY EXPOSURE:

Possible Petroleum Engineering projects and studies are: 

  • Gas lift design, diagnosis, and optimization.

  • Specialized sanding modeling, studies, and lab testing.

  • Reservoir souring analyses, studies, and lab testing.

  • Mechanical earth modeling studies.

  • Well corrosion studies. 

Actual project(s) will be assigned based on the candidate’s competency as well as business needs.

JOB SKILLS/ TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:  

  • Applicants must have a minimum CGPA of 3.0 or above to be eligible for the internship.

  • Proficient in nodal analysis, well performance modelling, gas lift design, diagnosis, and evaluation.

  • Proficient in the basics of geomechanics, formation sanding, reservoir souring, artificial lift, and well corrosion.

  • Possesses practical experience via prior leading-role assignment in studies/projects related to one or more of the subjects of interest.

  • Experience using industry-recognized software programs such as PROSPER, WinGLUE, MBAL, Saphir, OFM, Eclipse, and others is considered an advantage.

  • Proficiency in computer programming is an advantage. 

Candidates shall provide sample(s) of relevant deliverables produced previously to demonstrate proficiency/competency in the subject matters.

  • Problem solver, critical thinker, and effective speaker

  • Self-driven, avid team worker with “can do” attitude and solid communication skills.
