Airswift has been tasked by one of our major clients to seek an Inventory Control Analyst II to work in Stanton, TX for a 12-month assignment (subject to extension).
Main Functions:
- Schedule and revise shipment plans to ensure efficient product distribution and customer satisfaction.
- Analyze inventory levels, production speed, and product demand to determine reorder levels, ensuring product availability and minimizing inventory costs.
- Write inventory reports, perform cycle counts, and determine periodic asset valuations.
- Work with moderate direction, applying skills and knowledge pertinent to the position.
- Make basic inventory decisions and conduct high-complexity analyses.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize computerized inventory systems in coordination with the PXD supply chain.
- Generate expediting reports based on purchase orders and expected delivery dates.
- Be available on-site for shipments, kick counts, and receipt inspections.
- Notify Procurement of deliveries and shortages.
- Coordinate and track late or delayed shipments.
- Support returns and RMAs (Return Material Authorizations).
- Work with Project Managers to assign AFEs (Authorization for Expenditures) to outgoing material.
- Actively communicate with Procurement, providing feedback and pushing for expediting when necessary.
- Manage XTO to PXD and PXD to XTO electrical material transfers.
- Understand preservation needs and requirements.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficiency in MS Excel.
- Experience with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within inventory control.
- Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
