We are looking for a Lead Materials Engineer with a specialization in polymers to join our team. The Lead Materials Engineer will be responsible for leading the development and testing of polymer materials, providing technical expertise in polymer science and engineering, and guiding the materials engineering team in the design and production of polymer-based products.
As a Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Leading the research and development of polymer materials for use in various applications.
Designing and conducting experiments to test the properties and performance of polymer materials.
Analyzing data and results to make recommendations for material selection and process improvements.
Providing technical guidance and mentorship to materials engineers and other team members.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop new products and improve existing products.
Staying current on industry trends, technologies, and advancements in polymer science and engineering.
Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations related to polymer materials.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
Have a bachelor’s degree in Materials Engineering, Polymer Science, or related field.
Have proven years of experience in materials engineering, with a focus on polymers.
Have expertise in polymer chemistry, processing, and characterization techniques.
Have experience leading materials engineering projects.
Have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Have great communication and leadership skills.
Have knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to polymer materials.
