The position

Do you have a desire to develop and deliver learning solutions that make a difference for Equinor? We are searching for a skilled Learning Professional to join our Equinor University team. This is your chance to contribute to a culture of continuous learning and play a pivotal role in achieving our strategic goals, including the expansion of our dynamic organization in Brazil.

As a Learning Professional in Equinor, you will be collaborating with the wider Equinor University team to ensure you apply the appropriate pedagogical methodology, design, implementation, and management of learning initiatives, programs, and courses to meet the specific needs of our diverse teams and individuals. You will partner with key stakeholders across Equinor to understand their needs, analyse learning gaps, and implement actionable solutions that drive continuous improvements in skills and competence development.

We are looking for someone experienced that strives to build and shape the Brazil’s learning portfolio, coordinating local deliveries, and ensuring global solutions are delivered locally. The successful candidate will have a passion for delivering learning solutions, collaborating with a wide variety of stakeholders, ability to manage stakeholders’ expectations and have knowledge of adult learning principles. The team also strives to utilise new ways of working to enhance efficiency and transparency in our daily work.

By joining our team in CFO Functional Center of Excellence you will have the opportunity to:

  • To deliver learning and competence development solutions, primarily for Operations & Maintenance (O&M) as well as other portfolios (i.e. courses, program, etc).
  • Providing pivotal support for Competence Assurance Management Solution (CAMS) implementation and portfolio oversight:
    • Support in maintenance of competence matrix and CAMS in Brazil;
    • Respond to internal and external audits regarding competence and training.
    • Contribute to and follow up assurance activities (Internal and External), including checking 3rd party competence management systems.
  • Technical representative for course providers and Learning Management Systems (LMS)
    • Follow up of main contracts.
    • Approach new providers for courses not available through main providers and create agreement (contract or annual spot PO) in collaboration with procurement.
    • Standardize agreements and invoice workflow for different providers in collaboration with procurement.
  • Development of Digital and other local learning and competence needs.
    • Assure quality and support the creation of e-learning content.

You

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required, Masters would be a plus. 
  • 7+ years of experience in learning and competence management, ideally within a large-scale organization.
  • Background in Energy industry would be a plus. 
  • Fluent in English and Portuguese, with excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Collaborative mindset, and a strong will to shape, empower and deliver learning that makes a difference for Equinor and the individual learner.
  • Cultural sensitivity and an appreciation for diversity.
  • Initiative-driven, process-oriented, and capable of leading change.
  • A continuous improvement advocate with strong digital literacy and an ability to embrace new technologies.
  • Ability to navigate and proactively collaborate with complex stakeholder environments in Brazil, Norway, US, and UK.
  • A proactive, curious, and organized team player who excels in stakeholder engagement.
