As a Maintenance Planner, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth execution of maintenance activities on both onshore and offshore sites. You will work closely with various departments, including Maintenance Support and Technical Planning, to deliver reliable and efficient plans that align with business targets, safety policies, and operational demands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planned Maintenance Delivery: Assist the Maintenance Support Coordinator in the delivery of planned maintenance activities, ensuring they meet safety policies and business objectives.
  • Work Prioritization: Collaborate with the Technical Planning Department to prioritize and resource major maintenance tasks, breakdowns, and asset integrity-related work.
  • Shutdown Scheduling: Develop and manage shutdown schedules, incorporating business forecasts, field development projects, and maintenance strategies.
  • Complex Work Planning: Prepare detailed plans for complex work, such as rotating equipment programs, routine outages, and maintenance campaigns.
  • Site Planning Support: Provide day-to-day support to Offshore and Onshore Planners, ensuring accurate and effective planning of 28-day and 90-day site plans.
  • Meeting Facilitation: Lead 90-day planning meetings, rough-cut planning sessions, and backlog reviews to ensure optimal resource allocation and activity tracking.
  • Liaison with Technical Authorities: Work closely with technical authorities to optimize critical equipment maintenance.
  • Integrated Asset Planning: Responsible for integrating district and functional plans into the Integrated Asset Plan (IAP).
  • Campaign Preparation: Lead the planning for Integrated Shutdown Planning (ISP) campaigns and satellite maintenance campaigns.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate with offshore and onshore teams, as well as other departments, to ensure maintenance plans are tracked, reported, and adjusted as needed.
  • Third-Party Coordination: Manage third-party business mobilization and planning activities in collaboration with other teams.
  • Shutdown Preparation: Support preparation for minor plant shutdowns by developing scopes of work, identifying necessary spares and resources, and planning tools and equipment.

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Engineering degree or relevant equivalent experience.
  • Software Proficiency: Expertise in SAP, MS Project, Primavera, and MS Office.
  • Experience:
    • Extensive experience in planning and controlling multi-disciplinary maintenance activities, particularly in the upstream oil & gas (O&G) sector.
    • Strong knowledge of operational methods for both onshore and offshore facilities.
    • Demonstrated experience in engaging with external vendors, managing resources, and contract management.
    • Significant exposure to offshore and onshore projects.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to negotiate, present, and influence stakeholders effectively.
  • Maintenance Expertise: Deep understanding of maintenance and project planning processes, including asset integrity management and shutdown scheduling.
