Maintenance Project Controls Administrator

One of our major Oil & Gas clients is seeking a Project Controls Administrator to work in Martinez, CA on an initial 12-month contract.

The Project Controls Administrator will support the Maintenance Department in with duties including timekeeping, budgeting, forecasting, cost control, earned value and change management practices throughout the life of a project.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist team with communications and reporting networks for data gathering, review, analysis and presentation of recommendations to ensure projects remains on schedule and within budget.
  • Communicate schedule status & recommendations to the project teams to maintain the projects within approved budgets.
  • Work with project teams to develop and maintain project work breakdown structures according Project Controls standards.
  • Support Project Controls Supervisor with monthly portfolio and project status reporting.
  • Contribute to the development of working schedules for estimating, prior to execution date.
  • Incorporate resource loading data into schedules as required.
  • Assist Project Managers in creating short-term schedules, monitor such schedules to determine impact on master schedule.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, Business, or an equivalent field preferred.
  • Computer Proficiencies: Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Advanced Excel Experience) and timekeeping. Experience with SAP and Primavera P6 is a plus.
  • Experience Preferred: Minimum of one year of experience in timekeeping and scheduling.
