We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to fill the position of Investor Relations, Mgr within our Investor Relations Department group based in Houston, Texas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Key company spokesperson for the investment community
- Plan and disseminate accurate and relevant information to the marketplace to assist investors in making informed decisions
- Participate in investment conferences, non-deal roadshows, tours and site visits
- Supports the quarterly earnings process – facilitates earnings materials including presentations, talking points and Q&A documents
- Develop and implement a proactive investor relations program
- Work with internal partners to continuously develop an in-depth understanding of operations, financials, businesses, accounting, and key metrics
- Other duties as required
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum 8 years of experience in energy industry and/or in general corporate finance
- Proficiency in public speaking, business writing, analysis and effective communication of financial data
- Strong knowledge of financial and capital markets
- Strong interpersonal skills, superior intellect, and an outstanding ability to communicate with senior executives and investment community using these qualities and skills
- Exceptional problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and in a collaborative environment
- Ability to travel up to 5%
Desired Qualifications:
- Advanced degree or CPA desired
- Investor Relations experience
- Corporate Finance experience
- Possess a passion and detailed knowledge of energy industry
