The position

By joining our team in Exploration & Production Norway you will have the opportunity to:

  • Work as a maritime traffic leader and logistics coordinator.

  • ​Coordinate vessel resources and ensure safe and efficient use of the vessel portfolio.

  • Perform emergency roles in the 2nd line Emergency Response Organisation.

  • Conduct ocean and environmental monitoring.

  • Plan, develop and improve logistics services within vessels and supplies.

  • Work on a land-based fully continuous shift arrangement.

Logistics and Preparedness is responsible for safe, efficient and sustainable logistics and preparedness for Equinor’s installations on the Norwegian continental shelf, including; base operations, vessel operations, air transport, preparedness and logistics development. 

 Operations Center Logistics and Preparedness is an operational unit within Logistics and Preparedness, and consists of the following units with responsibility for operational management and resource coordination of our logistics and preparedness resources: Operation Vessel, Operation Rig Move, Operation Monitoring and Preparedness, Operation Air and Personnel Logistics and Operation Air Offshore.

  • Bachelor or equivalent a Nautical subject, with a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience.

  • Hold deck officer minimum class 3, and hold education to be able to solve class 1.

  • Preferable experience or knowledge of logistics and/or vessel operations.

  • Fluency in written and spoken Norwegian.

  • Ability to understand and manage risk, and be able to handle operational challenges in an operational environment.

  • Ability to work in a structured and efficient manner, as well as having good collaboration and communication skills.

  • A proactive person that is able to take responsibility for their own learning and development and share their knowledge and experience with others.
