Market Risk – Project Analyst (Contract Role)
Job Description
We are seeking a talented and analytical individual to join our client’s Market Risk team as a Project Analyst on a temporary basis. This role is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of their data within the company’s ETRM system, used for the trading and shipping of biofuel.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the migration, accuracy, and integrity of data into the company’s ETRM system for successful reporting.
* Conduct daily reconciliation and parallel running of system exposures and P&L for both physical and financial trading versus independent calculations to ensure correctness and completeness.
* Identify and resolve system anomalies, proposing solutions for system enhancements and development within the ETRM system.
* Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Front Office, Middle Office, Back Office, Finance, and IT, to ensure successful project delivery and continuous improvement.
* Support process standardization for reporting purposes within the Risk team on a regional and global scale.
* Prepare and review daily P&L and risk reports, following up on any issues with relevant teams.
* Undertake other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Market Risk Manager.
Qualifications and Experience
