TLM TECHNICIAN
Job Summary
Performs all technical duties in one of the functional areas: electronic, mechanical, or systems.
Completes tests, measurements, operations or process controls. Conducts troubleshooting to
diagnose product, process, or program defects and repair them.
1. With minimal direction, analyze and determine causes associated with manual, automatic,
CNC and NC machine tools.
2. Make Mechanical and electrical repairs, request needed parts, etc.
3. Diagnose problems affecting the operation of production machinery.
4. Determine whether problem is mechanical, electrical or hydraulic in nature and decide best
approach for making repairs.
5. Obtain or request needed parts to complete repairs in the shortest time possible to eliminate
extensive loss of production.
6. Trouble shoot electrical problems with VOM, am probe, oscilloscope, etc.
7. Respond to written work requests as directed.
8. Observe all safety procedures and policies.
9. Maintain accurate documentation of all work performed.
10. Must cooperate and work well with others.
11. Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Job Qualifications
Minimum 1-year experience in Repair or Maintenanceï‚· High School Diploma Required
