The position
By joining our team in Corporate Audit & Investigation you will have the opportunity to:
- Manage assigned investigations within the misconduct investigation discipline which include:
- Reviewing and researching evidence and documents.
- Conducting interviews.
- Analysing facts and synthesising data
- Producing a professional investigation report with recommendations for internal control improvements.
- Contributing to further development of misconduct investigation methodology.
- Participating in ethics and anti-corruption and other leadership courses as an instructor.
- Providing input to a periodic report of conducted investigations to the board audit committee (BAC).
Corporate Audit & Investigation is an independent entity within Equinor, providing relevant and fact-based assurance to the board, and provide learning opportunities to management. The entity is divided into five departments: Business Insight Competence Centre (BIC), Methodology, Data and Learning (MDL), Internal Audit (INA), Accident Investigation (ACC), and Misconduct Investigation (MIS)”
You

- Education from the Norwegian Police Academy, a Master’s of Law or another relevant degree.
- Operational experience of conducting criminal or corporate investigations, or of practicing law in Norway.
- Knowledge or experience of handling financial misconduct cases, and/or bullying and harrassment cases.
- Experience as a leader, working internationally, or of previously working in corporate investigations and audits would be an advantage.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in both English and Norwegian.
- Flexible and operational, in order to handle investigations and when needed participate in audits within Equinor’s global business portfolio at short notice.
