Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on a variety of mobile plant equipment, including haul trucks, excavators, loaders, and other heavy machinery.
- Diagnose and repair hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Utilize diagnostic equipment and computer systems to identify and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions.
- Order and manage parts inventory.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and procedures.
Requirements: Qualification and Skill
- 3 – 5 years’ experience in mobile plant maintenance and repair, preferably in a mining environment.
- Trade qualification as a Mobile Plant Fitter or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Proven ability to diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues.
