Multiskill Technician (Mont Belvieu – Represented Site)

What role you will play in our team

A Multi-skill maintenance technician is a Union represented position responsible for the day to day electrical/mechanical maintenance and repairs for Mont Belvieu area of responsibility. Daily duties can consist of but are not limited to:

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions
• Maintain/calibrate measurement equipment
• Transmitter calibrations
• Low/medium voltage wiring
• General Microsoft suite applications

What you will do

• Assist in the construction, maintenance, operations, and repairs of pipelines and associated facilities and equipment
• Demonstrated ability to maintain a consistent safe work ethic
• Ability to plan daily work activities in accordance with established Company and Regulatory procedures.  
• Ability to work effectively both alone and with others 
• Ability to communicate (read, write, and speak) effectively.  
• Able to use Microsoft Office suite of programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) 
• Willing and able to work in various locations, both indoors and outdoors in a variety of weather conditions and temperatures.    
• Will be expected to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as necessary and respond to call-outs.  
• Must be willing and able to attend/complete required training courses.  
• Ability to operate hand tools or other pipeline equipment to accomplish assigned tasks.  
• Safe driving skills, a valid driver’s license
• Knowledge of emergency response procedures and DOT regulations

• Must be willing and able to work in small team environments 
• Must be willing and able to work in various locations, both indoors and outdoors, in a variety of weather conditions and temperatures
• Must have safe driving skills
• Must possess a valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications/ Experience

• Mechanical aptitude preferred 
• Fundamental knowledge of electricity
