As an Offshore Wind Contracts Engineer, you will support critical procurement and contract activities for offshore wind and renewable energy projects. Working within a dynamic and international environment, you will play a key role in driving excellence across engineering and EPC service procurement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contract Negotiations & Market Consultation:
- Lead the preparation and execution of tender processes for offshore wind foundations/structures.
- Administer calls for tender, qualify suppliers, and negotiate contractual terms.
- Present outcomes to senior management.
- Deliverables include negotiated contracts and supporting presentations/memos.
- Procurement Strategy Development:
- Develop and consolidate market and supplier intelligence for offshore wind foundations.
- Facilitate multidisciplinary workshops with engineers, legal experts, and project managers.
- Deliverables include strategic memos and presentations.
- Pre-FID Phase Contract Support:
- Provide contract engineering expertise and coordination for renewable projects in the pre-Final Investment Decision phase.
- Deliverables include tender templates and contract frameworks.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience: Minimum 8-10 years in EPC contracts engineering and administration, preferably within offshore wind or renewable energy sectors.
- Technical Expertise:
- Strong knowledge of NEC, BIMCO, FIDIC, and other contract templates.
- Experience in negotiating complex construction contracts and supplier agreements.
- Familiarity with energy sector challenges and industrial construction techniques.
- Soft Skills:
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and adapt in a global, fast-paced environment.
- Languages: Fluency in English is required; knowledge of French or Chinese is an advantage.
- Technical Tools: Proficiency in Power BI is a plus.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field.
