Payroll Analyst – Join Our Growing Team!
Do you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for ensuring accuracy? Are you excited about supporting a dynamic trading business?
We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Payroll Analyst to join our client’s growing team in the United Kingdom. In this role, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth and compliant payroll operations for our local and expatriate staff (approximately 210 employees).
What You Will Do:
Prepare and review payroll instructions and outputs for both local and expatriate employees.
Maintain and update our UK Payroll System and HR system (Oracle).
Resolve basic pay-related queries and discrepancies from staff members.
Generate monthly reports for the Finance department, including costing reports, overtime reports, and statutory Maternity Pay schedules.
Review employee expense claims to ensure adherence to company policy.
Provide general administrative support to your Line Manager.
Prepare statutory payment reports and payment requests.
Record and provide details of employee benefits-in-kind for tax purposes.
Assist in providing information for Expatriate Tax returns.
Participate in annual reconciliation and returns processes.
Assist with pension contribution files.
Support with reporting and audits.
File payroll documents related to taxable and non-taxable pay.
Take on special projects as assigned.
Who You Are:
You have proven experience coordinating and managing payroll, ideally within a similar sized organization.
You possess a strong understanding of UK payroll legislation and regulations.
You are an Excel whiz with advanced skills in pivot tables and V look ups.
You have a meticulous eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
You are a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
You are proficient in a payroll system (ideally Oracle) and HRIS software.
