  • Coordinate with legal and other departments consolidation of required input to start permitting process (CNH, ASEA, CONAGUA, SOTOP and other required state and municipal permits)
  • Liaise with HSEQ team for risks identification and action items follow up
  • Liaise with social management department to process social permits
  • Mature discipline specific requirements for FID
  • Provide input to FEED & EPCI contracts regarding permitting & HSEQ risks topics
  • Provide input to Workover related contracts regarding permitting & HSEQ risks topics
  • Engage & coordinate legal supports in the application of permits
  • Organize and prepare permit applications
  • Manage & actively engaging all the permitting stakeholders to ensure efficient and smooth permitting process
  • Support social management department to fulfill the requirements during execution of project
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and project-specific requirements.

  • Bachelor’s degree in B.S. Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, Process Safety or equivalent HSEQ related field.
  • Ten (10) + years of experience in Permitting positions in the Oil and Gas Industry.
  • Experience in stakeholder management with authorities (CNH, ASEA, CONAGUA, SOTOP and other required state and municipal) and landowners
  • n-depth knowledge of Mexico permitting requirements & procedure (national and state levels)
  • In-depth knowledge of operational activities and Hazard identification, assessment and control (risk management strategies)
  • HSEQ Management system knowledge (ISO 9k, 14k & 45k)
  • Sound understanding of Project Management principals
  • Proficient in audit planning and execution
  • Fluent in English and Spanish
  • Non-Technical Skills (It refers to soft skills: i.e. leadership, management skills, negotiation, communication, etc.)
  • Functional, business, industry supervisory expertise
  • Strong interpersonal skills to create and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Flexible to travel to meet and engage major stakeholders
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to operate in an agile environment, working in cross-functional and multicultural teams
  • Strong Conflict Resolution
