Summary

The Personnel Coordinator is responsible for the coordinating and staffing of crews for the drilling rigs.

 

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining personnel databases and employee tracking systems
  • Working closely with Field Superintendents and field staff
  • Building and maintaining relationships with field employees
  • Investigating employment issues
  • Conducting employee exit interviews
  • Coordinating charter and/or commercial flights for crews
  • Taking part in a 24-hour on-call rotation for staffing after hours and weekends
  • Various administrative responsibilities and projects as assigned

 

Knowledge & Skills

Some knowledge of current employment law

Previous oilfield experience would be an asset

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word

Strong attention to detail

Capable of analyzing and problem-solving

Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Ability to multi-task and coordinate to meet deadlines

Ability to be objective

Ability to work independently and in group settings

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

 

Education

High school diploma

 

Experience

A minimum 6 months of experience crewing/staffing drilling or well servicing rigs would be an asset

A minimum of 1 year of office experience coordinating various tasks
